I was always drawn to words, how they are used and why. I was first published at 11 years old when my mother sneakily sent a poem of mine to a newspaper competition and I won - I was mortified. In high school I had a teacher who drew me out of myself as a writer and that changed my life. I left a corporate career many years ago because it was slowly poisoning my soul. I have rarely regretted that choice. I work on independent productions in Canada and am passionate about continually honing my skills as a writer, producer, and director.
